The Henniker bridge, built by Milton Graton and his son Arnold in 1972 using traditional methods. The bridge serves as a footbridge across the Contoocook River for New England College and the community of Henniker. The Henniker Bridge was constructed to replicate the traditional style of covered bridges, however, it has not yet reached the 50 year age criteria for listing on the National Register of Historic Places.
